Resonance Student Pawan Goyal won Silver Medal for India in International Physics Olympiad

"Pawan Goyal", a regular student of Resonance since class 8th in Kota (Rajasthan), has brought honour for the country by winning a Silver medal in the 48th edition of the International Physics Olympiad held at Jakarta, Indonesia.


The important point about his achievement is that he was among the two students from class XI to represent India. Rest of the students were from class XII. It is a rare feat for a student in class XI as usually only class XII students represent India at international platform


He has many other accomplishments under his belt which are as follows:

  • Secured second rank in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) in SA Stream in 2016.
  • Represented India and won Gold Medal in International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) in 2015 with All India Rank 2nd at the Orientation Cum Selection Camp (OCSC).
  • Selected for Orientation Cum Selection Camp (OCSC) after clearing Indian National Biology Olympiad (INBO) in 2015. He was an NTSE scholar for the session 2015-16.
  • NTSE Scholar in 2015.
