In the recently declared revised results of Uttar Pradesh NTSE stage 1, the students
of Resonance have come up with the flying colors by their outstanding performance.
The Managing Director of Resonance, Mr. RK Verma informed that total 1480 students
have been selected for the stage-2 examination & out of them 42 students are from
Resonance. 26 students are from Classroom, 10 students are from workshop & 6 students
are from DLPD.
Highlights of the result are as under :
- It is our proud moment that one of our DLPD student Aditya Gupta has bagged 2nd
position in general category in the state with 191 marks.
- Student Amandeep Upadhyay from Lucknow study center has secured Rank 1 in PH category.
- In General category, 2 students have secured State Rank under top 10 (2 & 6).
- In OBC category student SHARAD KUMAR (Agra study center) has secured State Rank
2.
- In SC category, 1 student has secured State Rank 8.
Cut off for the Uttar Pradesh NTSE exam is as under :
Gen Category – 170, OBC category –152, SC Category – 142 & ST category - 69 respectively.
From this year onwards there has been an enhancement of the number of scholarships
from 1000 to 2000 in NTSE. The selection quota has been revised for all the States
& UT's.
All the selected students will appear in stage 2 examination which is going to be
held on 16th June 2019 in all the state headquarters.
Resonance has excelled the NTSE stage 1 examination (2018-19) not only in Uttar
Pradesh but also in other states. Resonance produced 3 state toppers (Rajasthan,
Odisha and Karnataka) & more than 370 students have been qualified for NTSE Stage-II.
The students who were unable to join Resonance for the NTSE Stage-I preparation
can avail the benefits of Resonance's Online Test Series for NTSE stage II which

The National Talent Search Examination is merit based scholarship examination for
class 10th students. It is conducted in two stages. NTSE examination can be taken
by Indian students as well as Indian students studying abroad.
Around 8000 students get selected for the second round from all over India. Out
of these, usually 2000 students will be selected for final scholarship of Rs. 1250/-
per month which will be provided to them till class-12 and afterwards get Rs 2000/-
per month for undergraduates & postgraduates. Amount of scholarship for PhD be fixed
in accordance with the UGC norms.
