SCERT has released NTSE Chhattisgarh application
form for stage 1 Exam. Students will have to apply through their schools in offline
mode till September 14, 2019. Before applying, students must go through NTSE Chhattisgarh
2020 eligibility criteria. Only class 10 students can apply for NTSE
Chhattisgarh exam. SCERT will organize Chhattisgarh stage 1 NTSE exam
on November 3, 2019.
Students will have to collect the admit card from their respective school authority
before the exam. The question papers will be available in English or Hindi medium.
The result will be declared in the first week of January 2020. To know about the

A total of 195 students will be selected for stage 2 of NTSE 2020 through
the stage 1 exam. There is no provision for re-evaluation of NTSE Chhattisgarh 2020
result-

2020 Application Form
SCERT will release the application form of the exam in the first week of August
2019. It can be downloaded from the official website or can be collected from the
respective exam centre of District. Student can fill the NTSE application form by
following the procedure given below:
- First of all, download the application form using the link given below and take
a printout of the same.
- Now, fill all the appropriate fields carefully. The form has to be filled in capital
letters with a blue or black ballpoint pen.
- Attach required documents and get them attested from the head of school.
- Submit this form to the respective school authority and then schools will have to
send these forms to the concerned officer before the last date.
Documents required: 2 passport size photos in school uniform, a
copy of caste/category certificate for reserved category students.

Syllabus
- NTSE Chhattisgarh exam is based on the syllabus of CGBSE up to class 10. Check CG
10th Syllabus.
- NTSE stage 1 Exam is divided into two parts that are MAT and SAT.
- MAT section consists of non-verbal and verbal reasoning and SAT section includes
Maths, Science and Social science.

NTSE Exam Pattern
NCERT prescribed the exam pattern for both stages which are followed as it is by
the states/UTs. There will be two exams in NTSE and no negative marking is prescribed

NTSE Chhattisgarh Result 2020
SCERT will declare the result of the exam in the first week of January 2020. The
result will be released in the form of two pdf files. Overall result file will consist
of marks details of all the students and merit list will contain basic details and
mark details of the shortlisted students. These students will appear for the stage
2 exam and finally selected students will avail scholarships.
